Apocalypse

Dark and ominous, a black hole between the lines
Happiness sucked out, in a vacuum hope declines
Chaos and mayhem, a star bleeds letters and cries
Desires forgotten, all options demoralize

The sun collapses scorching the words on a page
Old plans scribbled out, dreams abandoned in a cage
A new moon waxes, oblivious to changing times
It wanes in stages and clings to a few old rhymes

Troubles multiply, asteroids belted with fears
Confusion collects, stories of pain inked in tears
Planets misalign, mourn the death of gravity
A missing chapter, an incomplete rhapsody

Galaxies of hurt burst in a heap of verses
Faith in the future, locked and buried in hearses
A comet blazes, burns out like forgotten phrases
The curtain closes, a world that left no traces

Books left unwritten, empty paper cuts the sky
Blank parchments scatter dust clouds, a sad lullaby
Tales of old thrown out, prose and poetry despised
Pens not wielded, ink dries, the cosmos whittles, dies

Empty. Black.
